An instrumental ensemble performing modern jazz was founded as quartet in 2011. By the 2012. the band has been complemented by a new bassist. The repertoire consists of songs of great contemporary jazz masters (John Scofield, Joshua Redman, Mike Stern, Pat Metheny ...) as well of original songs.
Full of enthusiasm, they remain firmly at the idea of a true jazz band, not just a usual group of musicians that ocasionaly perform jazz standards. Combining minimalism and complexity, lyricism and psychedelia, traditional and modern music, Salty Tails sounds sincere, fresh and playful.

Denis Razumovic Razz is Croatian jazz saxophone player and composer, born in Rijeka, a multiple award winner as a prominent Croatian alto saxophone player. Listen to him in "Manhattan bar" at Ambassador Hotel Opatija where he will perform with his band on 17th of January, at 21:00.
