Nedjelja, 21. svibnja 2017. u 20 sati / velika dvorana centra Gervais, Opatija
Festival „Naš svijet je glazba“ svake godine okuplja nekoliko renomiranih puhačkih orkestara iz regije Alpe-Adria, koji glazbom predstavljaju mjesta i države iz kojih dolaze. Vrhunac događanja je veliki zajednički nastup u parku ispred vile Angioline, na kojem pred mnoštvom ljubitelja glazbe, ali i slučajnih prolaznika, svi sudionici izvode probrane materijale iz svoga repertoara. Posljednjeg dana festivala svi sudionici ujedinjeni u jedan veliki orkestar sastavljen od dvjestotinjak glazbenika na promenadnom koncertu na Slatini izvode poznate koračnice zemalja iz kojih dolaze orkestri.

Opatija koncem ovog mjeseca postaje bogatija za Kulturno-turistički centar “Gervais” u kojem će se održavati brojne manifestacije, a posebno je zanimljivo što se u prizemlju nalazi veliki prostor namijenjen prvenstveno održavanju klupskih koncerata u koji stane čak nešto više od tisuću posjetitelja.

The respect for the sound of their instruments, as well as a shared passion for creating new sounds, brings two musicians together. The cellist Matthias Bartolomey and the violinist and mandola player Klemens Bittmann are leading their instruments out of their deeply rooted classical tradition to new musical pathways. With the spontaneity and improvisation of Jazz, their music includes heavy groove and rock elements as well as intimate ballads and fast uptempo compositions.
