Born 1969 in Rijeka, Republic Croatia, lives and works in Vienna and Rijeka.
Since 1996 he teaches movement, dance and mime/physical theatre in various Theatres, festivals and schools.
In early nineties he started to express by painting. His works had been shown in several solo and group exhibitions in Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and the Netherlands.

... "I would say that mysterious and strange world of insects has always fascinated me, invisible to the naked eye, extremely rich when viewed through camera lens in macro format. The time and reduction of "unimportant" comes into play all extraordinarity of ordinary. Macro frame and micro structure creates an entirely new world which is to be made closer to and enjoyed, because it is just as interesting as this "great one".
Read More »Exibition presents the opus of Lorena Miocic's traditional prints from the period of 2004. - 2008. Lorena specialized graphics in the Department of Fine Art, University of Rijeka in the class of Maja Frankovic. She combines the techniques of deep linocuts and printing, strong contrasts and geometric compositions.
The author also works with graphic, fashion design and digital art.
"Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival)" is held on March 3rd. This is a day to pray for young girl's growth and happiness. It is also called "Momo no sekku (Peach Festival)" because of the peach blossom season on the old lunar calendar.
The exhibition will be open on March the 4th at Museum of Rijeka at 6pm.

The exhibition shows a young, unknown Che Guevara from family photo albums, in the years which Ernesto Guevara de la Serna spent with family in the small village of Alta Gross, which have formed his personality.
As interesting highlight of exhibition is the Che Guevara photo taken by Peter Grabovac during his stay in Rijeka in 1959.
The exhibition of pekmezmed, ninja tiger and toki voki in Filter is open until January 16th, every day from 9 am to 24 am.

The exhibition "Merika – Emigration from Central Europe to the USA, 1880-1914" opened at Rijeka's museum is divided into two parts. The first covers emigration as a labyrinth, and the second focuses on emigrants' future lives, with numerous photos and biographical information.
40 years of International exhibition of drawing

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka has been organizing the International Exhibition of Drawings ever since 1968. Forty years after the first exhibition, drawing returns to Rijeka, this year accompanied by animated films.
