3rd OLD SAILING BOATS REGATTA

This saturday, July 16th Mošćenička Draga will be host of 3rd Old sailing boats regatta. Start od regatta will be at 2:30 PM, and at the evening you can enjoy at Fisherman’s Night!

Marinina - Mošćenička Draga Days

Days of the Municipality Moscenicka Draga will be held on the waterfront from the 15th to 17th of July 2011..
15.07. - Award for best garden, balcony; entertainment with TRIO OPUS will start at 20.00
16.07. - 3rd Review and traditional sail boat race will start at 12.00, while the awards ceremony and entertainment will be held on the waterfront in Mošćenička Draga at 20.00.
17.07. - Walter Neugebauer @ The Cadillac Band will perform starting at 20:00,
in 23:00- a spectacular fireworks display.

Rocketing of Gobo

After the trial, Gobo will be severely punished for all the nasty things he's done in the last year. The rocket will be launched and all the evils will fly away with the burning Gobo - blame for all!
Long live Carnival!

Traditional boat race on the oars and Party

At the 6PM starts the traditional boat race on the oars, followed by The FISHING PARTY, where Company Band will be entertaining you.

Burning of the carnival’s mascot

Ash Wednesday with the burning of the carnival’s mascot by firing it with a thirty meter long rocket, after it has been proclaimed the ‘culprit’ for all the misfortunes at a public trial and condemned to ‘fly to Mars, to the Moon or wherever it pleases in the Universe’. This tradition dates back more than thirty five years when men first landed on the moon. The launching rocket is getting bigger every year. This event marks the end of carnival and of the winter celebrations. Enjoy the after party at Hotel Marina!
