“Strings”

An exhibition by Jasna Šikanja called '' Strings'' will be held in the gallery of St. Trojica in Kastav.

Jasna Šikanja is a contemporary graphic artist known for her tendencies of minimalistic expression – the reduction of form and colour, and the elimination of narration, thereby bringing her expression down to a conceptually pure and visually compressed art. She is also known for her inclination towards contemporary forms of artistic practice: installations, performances, projects and campaigns, in which the interactive relationship between the work and the audience is an essential component. This can all be seen in her work “Strings”, and installation created and adapted specially for the exhibition space of Kastav’s Chapel of the Holy Trinity, which was also the main inspiration for this project.
