Tournament in speedminton

The city of Opatija on the occasion of his days in Ičići will organise tournament in one relatively unknown sport. It is a speedminton, and that's actually a form of badminton with only a slightly different way of the game.

Tournament will be held on the beach in Ičići on Sunday starting at 10:00 am. Speedminton is very similar to badminton, but considering that the game tempo is relatively faster, and often need to take into account the impact of wind and on the shuttlecock. Speedminton has the highest popularity in Germany, which is no surprise considering that German has invented this sport.
