Liburnia Film Festival

The Liburnia Film Festival takes place in the small fishing harbour of Ičići and presents the best documentary films by Croatian filmmakers and producers from the last year. The jury and audience awards from this festival are highly recognised among filmmakers, and since 2013 the LFF is the only festival in Croatia to have introduced awards for best director, camera, editing and sound. During the four days of the festival, visitors can view approximately fifteen films in the competition, and a further dozen films from regional production in a relaxed atmosphere just a few steps from the sea. The Liburnia Film Festival attracts approximately three thousand visitors, and includes a varied music programme and numerous educational workshops.
