Framing of canon - extreme forms of body

Jelena Azinović was born in Zagreb in 1986 where she finished elementary and secondary school. In 2005 she entered the undergraduate study of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb. In 2009 she continued her education by entering the graduate study program at the same university. She received MA in 2011 in the class of professor Miro Vuco. She received scholarships from the city of Zagreb in 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 as well as the Top scholarship for top students in 2010. Together with Jakša Zelimanović she won first prize on the competition Rijeka’s Bench, organized by the association Riječki val and Internet website pogledaj.to in 2011. She is a member of the HDLU.
