October 2009.
Rikon is a three-day long convention that is held in Rijeka in the first half of the October ever since 1997. The goal of the convention is to promote science fiction, fantasy and horror in all arts, to educate participants on topics related to these fields of popular culture, as well as on the latest achievements in science.
This year, Rikon is taking place at Astronomical Center Rijeka, club Discordia and caffe bar Grinch. Ticket: 50 kn

Organized by the Association Golden Cut, Faculty of Philosophy and the University of Rijeka, under the auspices of the City of Rijeka, from April 20th to 24th will be held 7th Festival of Science. This year's festival, launched with the aim of popularizing science, primarily among young people, is devoted to the topic of evolution.
