Croatian Museum of Tourism hosted the exhibition "Looking towards the Tatras - from Zakopane to Lovran'' in collaboration with the Department for Culture Zakopane to southern Poland.
The exhibition is a tribute to the artist Stanislaw Witkiewicz (1851 - 1915), an extraordinary painter, a great writer and creator of the single Zakopane Style, which is the period from 1904 to 1915 spent his last years in Lovran.Read More »
National cultural and tourist campaign "Friends of the Sea" was initiated in 2009 by the Livingstone association and the company Astoria from Rijeka. The aim is to present the photography exhibition on large formats, open air, in 15 Croatian cities (every year from May to September), to Croatian public and to all the visitors, in order to draw attention to the role of photography in media culture and its social responsibility, and permanent value in promoting ecology and preservation of the Adriatic Sea. After the trilogy with themes of underwater, surface of the sea and essays on the Mediterranean, the fourth edition of this fascination exhibition presents valuable materials from the archives of museums, galleries, photo clubs and private collections.
