This year Festval Opatija has prepared a real musical treat for the end of the year - Christmas concert in the Crystal Ballroom of Hotel Kvarner, Opatija on Saturday, 18 December. Performers are Revial Orchestra - Zagreb Philharmonic under the baton of Josip Cvitanovic, Ballet members of the Theatre of Comedy from Zagreb, choirs Little sparrows and Opatija boys. The Soloists are: Sandra Bagaric, Renata Sabljak, Djani Stipanicev .and Ervin Baucic.

Enjoy freshly prepared sweets with a traditional taste of Christmas
On Sunday, 12th of December in the organization of Town Opatija will be organized the promotion ceremony of restored mountain path Opatija - Poljane - Poklon.
Revamped track will officially open the Mayor of Opatija, Mr. Ivan Dujmić and head of Nature Park Učka Suzi Petričić.
Start of activities is in Opatija at 8:00 in the park under Villa Esperia (across from the Hotel Admira "l, close to the station line 32).
Participants will have pleasant 3 and half hours of hiking with an expert guide of mountain society "Opatija".
Along the path are provided refreshments, hot tea and sweets and at the end of the track free lunch (beans) for all participants in a mountain home Poklon.
Return - regular bus line "AUTOTROLEJ" at 15:45. (or by foot).
Activities at the opening will be adapted to the weather conditions. All participants are advised to have winter mountaineering equipment.
