The lady that made her way into the spotlight of Opatija's Open Air Theatre Erika Kertész with her band Avenue comes from Budapest. A perfect background for Erika's vocals are the band members: Róbert Rátonyi - piano, Péter Szendőfi - drums i Gergő Kolta - bass guitar.
Soul Jazz Orchestra
Since their creation in Ottawa, Canada, back in 2002, the Souljazz Orchestra have become one of the most potent bands in their field.

At the opening ceremony of the 20th Kastav summer festival will perform Renata Sabljak and maestro Dinko Appelt. ‘’Renata - born again’’ is the name of music program. Singer will take us through her musical career.

From 1st to 3rd of July 2011 at Grobnik will be held circular International auto race "CROATIAN TROPHY 2011 - SAFETY CUP "organized by the Croatian Auto and Karting federation. There will be 80 drivers, most of which came from Serbia (39), followed by 19 Croatia. and Slovenian 14 drivers.
Viewers will be able to enjoy the races with a symbolic entrance fee of only 20 kuna.
Prize money: 11.000,00 kn
Schedule: Trainings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays qualifying races.
17.-19.06. at 18.00 h (semifinals)
24.-26.06. at 18.00 h (semifinals)
01.-03.07. at 18.00 h (final)
Fee: 100 kn
Concert of Marijan Ban and band Diktatori at the stage of Water polo Club Opatija as an event of "Summer Time 2011".
Organizers and sponsors are the City of Opatija, local committee Volosko, TZ Opatija and female vocal group Volosko.
The exhibition by Dražen Trogrlić “Kastav Light / Windows” is opened from 1st to 13th of July 2011 at Gallery of St. Trojica in Kastav.

In the first weekend of July, for 11th year in a row, Opatija will be a host to the Liburnia Jazz Festival, which, according to its level of recognition, number of concerts and visitors, is definitely the biggest jazz festival in Croatia and the region.
