MemEnto is a six piece band founded in 2008. The band members are all experienced musicians, with the singer Natasha Tonkovic, well known as a solist of the "Putokazi" and "Elemental". Their repertoire is a careffuly chosen fusion of pop, jazz, soul and funk, higly supported by the music audience.
Denis Razumović – Razz is a Croatian Jazz saxaphonist and a true be-boper, who just loves to play fast tempos, and in the same time not forgetting a liric-mannered ballads. By sound, he reminds on a J.McLean and Lou Donaldson, but rhitmically, he is most influenced by Art Pepper.
He is a holder of several croatian music awards "Status", and he was voted as a best Croatian Alto sax player.
Volcán, an all-star group featuring the prodigious talents of Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Jose Armando Gola, Horacio 'El Negro' Hernandez and Giovanni Hidalgo is the product of years of friendship, respect and a diverse and rich musical heritage. With over 150 albums between them as leaders and sidemen, these highly revered musicians have joined forces to our delight.
Al Di Meola, Charlie Haden, Dizzy Gillespie and Paul Simon are just a few of the famous names that have called on the services of the musicians who make up the group Volcan. According to the critics, band members Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Horacio ‘El Negro’ Hernandez, Giovanni Hidalgo and Armando Gola can all be called pioneers of modern Latin jazz.
The band members can be heard on over 150 albums as soloists or accompanists. The quartet has also received many Grammy nominations and awards, as well as other prizes and distinctions all over the globe. The band’s Volcan project is yet again earning them great respect. Wherever the super quartet performs, the audience instantly shows their appreciation. Liburnia Jazz is looking forward to a passionate ensemble filled with fire and emotion, waiting to explode on stage and bring forth a lava stream of rhythm and melody.

For the 15th anniversary of the Liburnia Jazz Festival, we present the créme de la créme of the Croatian Jazz. With artists like Tamara Obrovac, Elvis Stanic, Neven Franges, the concert will also feature Kvarner's jazz artists emerged from the famous "Jazz Konoba".
Trough the fusion of mostly all that is present on the Croatian jazz scene, the audience will enjoy trully oustanding jazz performances, in the yet unseen musical combinations. Artist will show the specific meaning of the "Combo Band" expression, and proove the value of the Croatian Jazz.

This year, the Liburnia Jazz Festival celebrates 15th anniversary, under the moto "THE BEST OF THE BEST JAZZ", as international, as well as Croatian.
This year Liburnia Jazz festival will have 14 concerts on 8 different stages.
The intro to the Festival will take place at the Hotel Kvarner Terrace, and then, after the jazz conquers Opatija, morning starts with Jazz Breakfasts on terraces of the Hotel Ambassador, Kvarner and Milenij. It will continue on the unique Jazz Boat Cruise, with early evening jazz finale at the Hotel Bristol terrace. The main evening concerts with some of the best artist from the world's and Croatian jazz scene take place at the Open air Theatre, with final concerts at terraces of hotel Kvarner and hotel Tamaris.

The old engines roared pleasantly, guiding us with the beauty of their advanced years into the warm summer nights. Every Tuesday during the summer, in front of the hotel Milenij, the Liburnia Classic Club from Opatija will await the guests with five historic vehicles to take them for a free 25-minute ride around Opatija. A sightseeing tour of sorts with the pleasure of riding in a historic vehicle that nowadays presents a rarity. The guests of Opatija may enjoy this offer in the period from 7:30 p.m. till 10 p.m.
