12th "Bejahad" will be held for the fifth time in Opatija, in the period from 24.VIII. - 31.VIII. 2011. The guests are Jüdisches Museum and the Jüdische Gemeinde Wien and Centrum Judaicum and Jüdische Gemeinde Berlin. Bejahad (Hebrew together) - The Jewish cultural scene. It meets annually for a period of seven days, with a cultural program. The aim is to gather Jews living in the former Yugoslavia as well as those originating from these areas, and live all over the world.

9th Liburnia film festival will be held from 24 to 27 August 2011. port in Icici (Opatija) organized by Delta and My Icici Association. At this year's Festival of Croatian documentary film will be screened 18 documentary films made in the past year.

Traditionally very succesful INTERNATIONAL TENNIS SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIPS of CROATIA Category 2 organized by Tennis Club Opatija and Croatian tennis association of veterans will be played again. It is expected more then 200 players from twenty countries around the world. The games will be played according to regulations approved by ITF, Tennis Europe and HTS. All the matches will be played to the best of three sets, using the Tie-break system in all sets.
