From August 25 to August 30 2014 at the Tennis Club “Opatija” will be held 50th North Adriatic International Championships for veterans – seniors 35 + and super seniors 60-85 + world ITF STARS 2, organized by the tennis club Opatija, and Croatian Tennis Association veterans. The tournament is one of the few international tournaments with this tradition, which brings together high-ranking tennis players in the world rankings ITF and Tennis Europe, which is recorded and this tournament.
Competitors come from almost all European countries, Australia, USA, and RSA.
The tournament is promoted by well-known initiator of tennis in Opatija, the deciesed Krunoslav Penkala, son of the famous Croatian inventor.
Josipa Lisac, will perform at the big concert called "There is a city somewhere ..."
The love between Josipa and Opatija began in 1968,with the performance at the festival in Opatija and interpretation of song by Arsen Dedić "What makes me happy."
Concert tickets, at a price of 160 and 130 kuna ( seating), are sold from May 27 and can be purchased through Eventim website.
