Very special exhibition of underwater sculptures by academic Sinisa Majkus is organized by Croatian Tourism Museum, Opatija. The best way to tour the exhibition is scuba diving, because the sculptures are placed at 4 metars deep in the sea 100 m from the coast, infront of of Hotel Kvarner. All the "divers" will be able to see the exhibition until the end of August.

3rd Croatian Festival of A capella Singers and Mandolins will gather the best Croatian a capella singing groups which use traditional acoustic instruments. In the competitive part of the festival participate 10 groups.The jury consists of prominent music professionals: Nikola Buble, Dusko Tambača, Mirna Maric, Ljubo Kuntarić, Milan Jakic and Ramiro Palmić.

Sailing Regatta "Homo si bordižat" (Open) organized by Sailing Club Opatija, traditionally has been sailed during the summer season. This year, "Homo si bordižat" Regatta sails from Opatija to Volosko, on the occasion of "Days of Opatija." In the case of mistral, the route will be: Lovran-Opatija-Volosko-Opatija, with start and finish in front of the port of Opatija.
