CROATIA ON HISTORICAL PANORAMIC PHOTOS
host: the Croatian Museum of Tourism in Opatija from 27 April to 17 May 2012. At the exhibition you can see enlarged 58 copies of postcards and photographs of Zagreb, Opatija, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Zadar, Rab, Sibenik, Porec, Pula, Hvar, Karlovac, Otocac, Varazdin, Koprivnica, Djakovo, Osijek and others, taken in the period from 1860 to 1930.
January 2011.
Museum of Croatian tourism joins a museum community in a traditional cultural event, Museum Night '11, organized by the Croatian Museum Society. The presentation of the catalog of exhibition "From mud baths to wellness" - health tourism development in Croatia will take place in a villa Angiolina. Visitors will also be able to attend the opening exhibition of photographs by the author of Vera Bilek - Faces of Papua New Guinea. Gastro-magic is the name of culinary performance of the famous restaurant Le Mandrać specially for the Museum Night '11 , organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism.
Throughout the evening, you can watch the video from the Croatian tourist past, a short film that shows the tourism in Croatia in mid-20th century.
July 2010.
The Croatian Museum of Tourism's organized the exhibition titled The Development of Health Tourism in Croatia which will be opened at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29th of 2010 at the Villa Angiolina in Opatija. The exhibition will remain open until February of 2011. Opening hours:Every day, except Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Admission is free.
