Very special exhibition of underwater sculptures by academic Sinisa Majkus is organized by Croatian Tourism Museum, Opatija. The best way to tour the exhibition is scuba diving, because the sculptures are placed at 4 metars deep in the sea 100 m from the coast, infront of of Hotel Kvarner. All the "divers" will be able to see the exhibition until the end of August.

The exhibition of works by famous Croatian artist Mladen Veža, organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism, will be opened on Thursday, July 14th 2011 at the Pavilion Juraj Šporer in Opatija. The exhibition will remain open until August 22nd 2011.

Painter Ji Suk Baek (Jessy Baek ), originally from South Korea, exhibits her landscapes at Gallery Atelier Giulio Bonacic, Opatija, from 30 June to 6 August 2011.

The exhibition Lungomare - 100th birthday, organized by the City of Opatija and the Croatian Museum of Tourism will be open in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" in Opatija on Wednesday, 29th of June 2011. at 19:30. Exhibition of large format photographs on the promenade Slatina, Opatija from 17th to 24th of June 2011 is aimed at the Croatian public and to all its guests to draw attention to social responsibility and the constant value of promoting environmental preservation and the sea.It is estimated that previous year, through the four summer months, in fifteen Croatian cities, this exhibition with the theme of underwater, have seen more than one million people.

The exhibition by Eda Mihovilic: "Collage - a cake of reality" opens 28th of April 2011 at Art Pavilion Juraj Sporer Opatija.
Eda Mihovilić, was born in 1950. in Volosko. Elementary school and grammar school in Opatija. She studied at the Pedagogical Academy in Rijeka, Department of Fine Arts, and spent lifetime working as an arranger-decorator in Opatija. He lives and works in Poljane (Icici). Since 2005. was actively engaged in painting, art participates in many meetings and events, and has won several awards.
