With his impressive sculptural opus, Vladimir Herljević is firmly weaved into the fabric of Croatian art. Herljević was born in 1930 in Vareš (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and in 1951 he enrolled into the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He graduated in 1956 in the class of professor Antun Augustinčić, in whose Master Workshop he spent more than two decades. He continues to work with full intensity even today, near the Master's atelier in Zagreb's Tuškanac.

Croatian Museum of Tourism continues the cycle of exhibitions "Guest Artist" through which invites contemporary artists to visiting the museum comment tourism and everything that intrigues them in relation to tourism.
A guest artist on the first floor of Villa Angiolina from September 12th to 4th November will be Ivana Popovic with the exhibition "Observers".

Project of Croatian Designers Society and the platform Design Tourism is a continuation of the successful exhibition Croatian Holiday and aims to connect design and tourism, specifically authentic local gastronomy, design, food, recipes, products and scenarios of food preparation.
Curators of the project are Ivana Borovnjak, and Roberta Bratović and designers and design teams whose products make the exhibition are Oaza, Filip Havranek and Kristina Lugonja, Ivan Dorotić, and Luka Borčić, Nikola Radeljković and Igor Zanzerović, Vlatka Leskovar, Branimir Paskvan, , Manufakturist, Sonda, Nina Bačun and Roberta Bratović, Noel Šuran and Davorka Tumpić, Durda Prettyface and Vedran Klemens, Superstudio 29, and Mirna Raduka and Karmen Kolombo.

The aim of this exhibition is to show local and foreign visitors an enviable culture of Croatian photography from 50s. Authors: Ante and Zvonimir Brkan, Joso Špralja, Toso Dabac, Nikola Vučemilović, Milan Pavic, Zlata Laura Mizner, Alois Orel, Duro Griesbach, Andro Damjanić, Ivo Tolić, and Fernando Soprano, Igor Emili, Viktor Hreljanović, Abdon Smokvina from Rijeka.

Croatian Museum of Tourism has opened its undersea gallery, on the seabed at a depth of about 4 meters, on the sandy resort of the seabed between the Kvarner hotel and Angiolina, a distance of about 30 meters from the shore. This year the underwater gallery HMT, are works of Lada Sego, who in her artistic considerations presents environmental topics.

Organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism, the National Archive in Rijeka, Humanist Association Histria (Koper), the Archaeological Museum of Istria (Pula), Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria (Pula) and the Istrian cultural agency, on Tuesday, 28 May 2013 program, in 19 h, in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" will open the exhibition "Pietro Nobile: Istrian motives of the early 19th century ".
The exhibition will be open until 30 June 2013.
