June 2013.
Music Society Spinčići organizes the International Wind Orchestra Festival since 1996. Throughout the years many orchestras from Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Croatia have participated on the festival. The festival traditionally begins with a performance by the visiting orchestras in various areas of Kastav, followed by a parade through the streets of Kastav, opening ceremony with a joint performance by all the orchestras and finally a short concert program of each of the orchestras.

After finishing music school, Darko became bewitched by jazz music and the guitar. His technique makes it possible to play the melody with one hand and play bass accompaniment at the same time. In 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 Darko Jurković was voted best jazz guitarist in Croatia, 2006 he won The Porin Award (best solo jazz guitar).

This year's edition of music school “Glazbeni kampus va Kastve” (Music Campus in Kastav) continues with the tradition of enabling young people, musically educated or not, to become musicians or improve their knowledge in a short period of time. The highlight of the school is the public performance on the big Crekvina stage.

Musicians from Spinčići have a busy schedule playing concerts in their home region and all over Croatia, as well as numerous shows in festivals and music events in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, the Netherlands and Germany.

Rade Šerbedžija is one of the most famous actors in Croatia and in the former Yugoslavia. He has won numerous awards at national and international festivals. Guitarist Miroslav Tadić performed and recorded in a wide variety of settings and musical styles. He performs regularly in Europe, North and South America and Japan. Together, they form a duo that is always a pleasure to hear. They will play exclusively in Kastav, right before they leave for the opening of the world-known Ulysses Theatre.
