5th Kastav Film Festival

Kastav Film Festival is an international film festival taking place in the city of Kastav during summer. The festival was launched in 2009. The notion of the project is to open public spaces and to promote freedom of expression by ensuring the showing of every received film, without selection. In 2010 the second edition of the festival was organized, with much improvement in the technical area. The third edition was followed with the festival Manifesto, which finally set the ideological frame of activities. The Manifesto had a lot of success in the international filmography world, which resulted in a large number of films from european and other countries. The fourth edition of the festival introduced music concerts, and the positive energy is expected to continue this year, in which the festival will expand on 4 locations throughout 3 days.
