Come on a musical crossing of the Mediterranean Sea, exhilirated by the swell of the waves and the fabulous voices of Mísia, Vincenzo Capezzuto, Raquel Andueza, Dhafer Youssef and Aikaterini Papadopoulou. Trace a route round the marine cradle of our civilisation, feeling the crunch of sand as the air resounds to tarantellas, sung in Greek as was the custom in the Baroque era in the Greek-Albanian villages of Calabria and Sicily.

Christina Pluhar and l’Arpeggiata invite you on a cruise that will take you from Portugal to Turkey, following the coasts of Greece, Tunisia and Italy, caressed by the rocking of the waves and the captivating dialogue between traditional plucked instruments of the Mediterranean region – the qanun, saz, Greek lyre and lavta, the oud and Portuguese guitar – and the Baroque strings of l’Arpeggiata.
