Medieval Torture Devices

The medieval period is often called the dark age as well which can be contributed and witnessed by the ‘Medieval Torture Devices’ exhibition that brings over fifty reconstructions of creepy devices from that period.

In the Croatian Museum of Tourism, until 1st of September 2013, the reconstructed torture devices used in criminal cases from middle ages all up to 18th century and even further ahead in all parts of Europe will be exhibited.
The author of the exhibition and the owner of this impressive collection of torture devices is the Polish artist and collector, Piotr Buczkowski.

The exhibition has been opened at the “Juraj Šporer” Artistic Pavilion in Opatija and will remain open until 1st of September 2013.
