European week of walking at the Rijeka pier

In the framework of the European week of walking, which lasts until 22 September, you can join the walk the Rijeka pier (formerly Mol Maria Theresa and Molo Longo) on Tuesday, September 20, 17-19 h. Promenade is the 1740 m long. Entertainment leads Dražen Turina Šajeta.

6th EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

6th European Universities Handball Championship with 27 men and women participating teams from 13 different countries. First matches will be played in Dvorana Zamet and Dvorana Mladost 18.7. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The opening ceremony will be at 6.p.m. and after we are inviting you to the first game between of Rijeka University which will start at 8.p.m.
At 10 p.m. stars party in KLUB BOA. You are invites to join the fun with all participants!!!

8th Mediterranean Cup

8th Mediterranean Cup, the international handball tournament for children and youth, organized by the Handball Club "Matulji 2001" will take place from Sunday 19th June to Friday 24th June. The tournament will take place in Rijeka in the Sports Centre Zamet, Hall Mladost Trsat, Hall Kantrida and Matulji. At this year's tournament will compete over 900 girls and boys from around 50 teams from Norway, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia. The final match will be played in Hall Center "Zamet" in Rijeka on Friday, the 24th of June from 8:00 to 17:00, when one of Croatian "golden" handball players will give a medals to the most successful handball teams.

7th Aeromiting Rijeka

On Sunday, 12 June 2011. , at 15:00, will be held 7th Aeromiting Rijeka over the beach "Ploce" in front Kantrida. Training flights take place in the morning, while pre-program begins with landing of paratroopers and flying group "Wings of Kvarner", then in the afternoon followed by an official part of the program largely characterized by acrobatic flights of top domestic and foreign pilots. With a top flight program, for visitors are organized and panoramic flights to Grobnik field at a promotional price.

12th International Regatta Fiumanka

In addition to the traditional international regatta Fiumanka (June 11th) and Press Fiumanka (10th - 11th of June), this year its second edition will have the Rotary Regatta (10th - 11th of June), Liburnijska Regatta (9th and 10th of June, Zadar - Rijeka ), Fiumanka Classic, traditional build regatta (10th - 11th of June) and Virtual Fiumanka (June 10th). ALL EVENTS ARE COMPLETELY FREE FOR PARTICIPANTS AND VISITORS.
