Days of anti-fascism in Opatija 2015

The sixth edition of Days of anti-fascism in Opatija, organized by the Association of Anti-Fascist Fighters and Anti-Fascists of the City of Opatija and Gymnasium Eugen Kumičić will take place from 4 to 6 March at Villa Antonio and Memorial Home Lipa.

The first day is dedicated to the theme of "Children of the Holocaust". At 17:00 at Villa Antonio will be shown the American movie "The Last Flight of Peter Ginz", and guests are Branko Lustig and Igor Bajok.

On the second day - at 11:00 visit the Memorial House Lipa with prof. Tatjana Matetić, while on Friday at Villa Antonio at 17:30 will be held discussion "Children - victims of war". Participants Cekic, Dubravka Kocian Hercigonja, Marijan Gubin and Oleg Mandic, moderated by Neven Santic.

5th Days of antifascism Opatija

Organized by the Association of Anti-Fascist Fighters and Anti-Fascists of Opatija and Liburnia, and Gymnasium "Eugen Kumicic" Opatija for the fifth year in a row Villa Antonio will host the Days of antifascism.

EU Seminar: Economic policy and media involvement

Topic: Violence, focusing on the role of sexual violence as war weapon. Trauma of war violence (1st day), bullies are not born - one becomes a bully (2nd day), rape as a war crime (3rd day).

From the 7th to 9th March in Opatija are held, days of anti-fascism, with an evening of film, theater and a panel discussion which will be attended by prominent Croatian intellectuals and president of Croatia, mr Ivo Josipovic. Organizers: Association of anti-fascist veterans and anti-fascists of Opatija and Liburnia and Gymnasium "Eugen Kumičić" Opatija.
