Croatian Culinary days are a central national culinary event that is held for the 7th time in Opatija, and this time under the auspices of the President of the Republic and the Ministry of Tourism. The aim of the event is an affirmation of the integral cooking and confectionery field, the promotion of culinary masters of the Croatian food and meals Croatian culinary heritage. The main events are: 7th National championship of cooks, 2 National championship of pastry chefs and 4th Student competition "Camellia Cup"

The eighteenth consecutive year in Croatia, third time in Opatija, will be held the annual
Conference of Croatian psychologists, which is organized in two Opatija's hotels. The ceremony - opening and dinner - in the Crystal Hall of Hotel Kvarner, while the majority of the professional component of the program will take place in the Hotel Ambassador.
Cross-cultural psychology is the main issue of the professional program, although a wide range of topics from different areas of psychology will be debated.
