Carnival Klapa Marathon 2016

This musical event presents traditional Croatian vocal groups in a different way, as they sing famous carnival songs in the rhythm of the polka. In addition to the vocal performances, another significant aspect to this competition is the carnival spirit, as the audience and the jury will judge not only the musical quality, but also the quality of the masks and choreography. Famous musicians, carnival groups and bell-ringers (traditional masks of the region) will take part in the programme.

Kroatisches Festival der Klape-Gesangsgruppen und Mandolinen

Das Kroatische Festival der Klape-Gesangsgruppen und Mandolinen ist ein nationales Festival der traditionellen Gesangsgruppen, die ihre Lieder nicht nur "a capella" sondern auch in Begleitung von Saiteninstrumenten wie Gitarre und Mandoline ausführen. Als eine interessante Kombination des originellen A-Capella-Gesangs und schöner Instrumentalmelodien präsentiert sich das Kroatische Festival der Klape-Gesangsgruppen und Mandolinen als touristische Top-Kulturveranstaltung und bietet Gästen die Möglichkeit, sich mit kroatischen Volksliedern vertraut zu machen.

Croatian Klapa and Mandolins Festival 2014

The Croatian festival of "klape" vocal groups and mandolins presents traditional vocal groups, which will perform their songs not only "a capella", but also accompanied by string instruments such as guitars and mandolins. The festival, which brings together vocal groups from all over Croatia, takes place under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr Ivo Josipović. As an interesting combination of the traditional "a capella" singing and instrumental melodies, the Croatian festival of "klape" vocal groups and mandolins is a tourist and cultural event that offers visitors a chance to become acquainted with this aspect of Croatian musical heritage.

A choir that has conquered Youtube PERPETUUM JAZZILE

After seeing their concert somebody once said: “Perpetuum Jazzile is a vocal group in which music is actually the only thing the singers take seriously.” Well, there is some truth to that… but there is more. Powerful rhythms, rich harmonies, energetic sounds are what they love to make and give to the audience through (mostly) a cappella songs and renditions. Friendship is what connects them; music is what they live for. Who needs instruments when they have voices, they keep asking ourselves. Smiles on people’s faces are what they strive for.
