Coastal auto - moto rally will be held on 09.28.2013. The meeting will begin assembling cars in Matulji 8:00 a.m. to 9:30. Entertainment program begins at 09:30 pm, a vehicle will start at 10:00 h. Planned itinerary: Start Matulji - Opatija - Kastav - Viskovo - Čavle - motodrom Grobnik - Klana - Marišćina - Rupa.

From 26 to 28 September 2013 will be held 40th Edition "CROATIA RALLY 2013", which will be organized by Croatian Car and Karting Federation in Istria, with start and finish in Porec, while two special stages 27th September 2013 at the legendary track over Učka. In Opatija, on the beach Slatina will be organized large auto moto show. The entire project includes a new promoter of European Championships - Eurosport. The event is held under the auspices of the Croatian President, Dr Josipovic and supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, and the Croatian Ministry of Tourism.

Open Croatian Championship is organised by the Sailing Club «Opatija», under the authority of Radio Sailing Division of Croatian Sailing Federation and Croatian Sailing Federation.
Regatta is open to all boats with valid measurement certificate verified at their national authorities and members of their national class associations.
Učka Trail is a trail running competition, as well as a unique endeavor through preserved landscape of Učka Nature Park, thus giving a chance to see and feel places where history, tradition, an ancient legends and myths have been interlaced with natural beauties, making this competition so special and unforgettable. The race runs through forest trails and narrow paths with just a few kilometers of macadam and paved roads, leading you via East slopes (Kvarner’s) of Učka mountain passing over wide ridge.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Small Summer Stage 6:30 to 8:15 pm, organized by yoga instructor, a graduate instructor of yoga, Ivica Paden. Project of yoga exercise outdoors is carried out in collaboration with the Healthy City Office Opatija, Opatija Festival, and the Association Maslina and runs throughout the summer and if the weather will be, in September. Opatija and Opatija Festival provided the space, and participation is 30 kuna.

On Saturday, 7 September at sports hall Marino Cvetkovic will be held the international volleyball tournament in which, with the hosts VC Opatija, participate VC Rijeka and guests from Treviso.
