St. Rocco's Feast

Liganj Popular feast marking St. Rocco's Day including concert of band Mustafi on Saturday, lot of food and drink. The feast lasts from 13th to 16th of August 2011. You have the opportunity to visit ethno exhibition organized by Association Ognjisce.

Fisherman's Feast Ika

Traditional fisherman's feast, with band Point and trio Bajs. Gastro Offer: squid, sprats, mackerel and shark on the grill. (No ćevapi!). Miss Liburnia 2011

Selection of the most beautiful girls will be held on the terrace of the Hotel Imperial. Miss Liburnia 2011 will be a guest of Opatija, which wins the most votes for her appearance and personality.

Post Mandrac in Volosko

"Post Mandrać at tirabarka" will be held on Sunday, 7 August at 19.30 in Volosko. This is an auction of paintings and a concert of the academic painter from Volosko - Claudio Frank. The program will run Neno Pavinčić, and the musical guests are the pianist Natalia Maričeva, and violinist Esperanza Frank.

17th "On two wells" - poetry and music

Distinctive combination of poetry, music and art performances mark the event "Na dve sterni" ("On two wells"), which will be for the 17th time held in Brseč. Local artists will perform poetic performances and popular songs. The initiator of the event is Riccardo Staraj. On Saturday, 6 August at 20:00, on the square in Brseč, there will be entertainment with a performance by Duo Cicibeli.

Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders

On Friday, 5th of August, at 9:00 will start the parade from the Hotel Ambassador to Slatina in the organization of associations of co-ordination resulting from the war - the main organizer is the Association of Volunteers and war veterans, branch of Opatija.
