Egg Harvesting Day

Good day to you, let the eggs out - are the shouts on the Carnival Monday when masked folk in Liburnia go in traditional "egg harvesting".

29th Rijeka Carnival

The International Parade is the jewel in the crown of the carnival festivities in Kvarner region and much further. Competitions in imaginativeness, humor and originality, fireworks of colors and shapes result with a parade of hundreds of allegorical floats, thousands of masks and uncountable number of domestic and foreign observers.

4th Opatija Girandola

On Saturday, February 18th, we will have the fourth edition of the carnival Opatija Girandola. The procession will start at 14:00 from Slatina, to the Market, and will be joined by guests from Italy, Slovenia ...

16th Children's Carnival Parade

Saturday February 18 at 1 PM starts one of the main programs of the Rijeka Carnival – for the sixteenth time in a row, Children's Carnival Parade. The Children’s Carnival Parade is a carnival event in which the younger generation from Croatia and abroad take part in, when a river of children in colorful masks floods Rijeka’s Korzo.

Bell – ringers Festival

At the festival each year participate more than 1,500 participants and several thousand visitors. Festival starts at 13.00 with a parade of kindergarten Matulji and other carnival groups from Matulji, and then around 13:30 starts the Review of bell- ringers from home and abroad.

29th Balinjerada

The main street of Opatija, the move from the terrace of Hotel Bristol to Slatina, will be re-converted into a racetrack for the hand-made vehicles on ball bearings. The time is for 29th Balinjerada!

Carnival DANCE

Hotel Ambasador Opatija reopens its doors for carnival parties and invites you to the Carnival DANCE at the hotel restaurant on the 3rd, 04th, 10th, 11th, 17th and the 18th February - three Fridays and Saturdays in a row!

Lovran Carnival Parade 2012

International Carnival Parade will begin at 14:00. The procession is traditionally organized by the Local carnivale Toronjera society, and will range from Excelsior to Lovran pier.
