Inspired by the interest of the citizens of Opatija to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyles in order to improve the quality of life, Association Žmergo, organizes EtO 2 - Organic Market Opatija. EtO 2 is under the auspices of the City of Opatija, in cooperation with Parks Ltd. Opatija. Come and try ecologically grown food, learn something new!

Days of Baranja and Danube will be held in front of Opatija market 6 - 09.07.2011. from 9.00 to 21.00 h. The music support of event are three tambura players which will play in the evening, and a piper will play and stroll through the city during the day.
Saturday, 9th of July is day reserved for presentation of regional specialties - Fish Stew (Fish paprikash) and cobanac.
März 2011.
Friday 25th of March is the Narcissus Day - Symbols of hope. Narcissus Day will be celebrated in Opatija. Opatija City purchased the 2000 narcissus - flower of hope, it will be distributed in Opatija on Friday, the 26th March from 8.00 to 10.00 at Opatija market.
