Kroatischer "Walk of Fame"

Die Kommission für die Nominierung der Persönlichkeiten besteht aus Vertretern des kroatischen lexikographischen Instituts, des Kroatischen Verbandes der Bühnenkünstler, des Kroatischen Olympischen Komitees, dem Institut Ruđer Bošković - insgesamt 15 Institutionen. Die Aufgabe der Kommission ist es 10 Persönlichkeiten (fünf verstorbene) auszuwählen. Jedes Jahr werden 8 neue Marmorsterne eingesetzt.
Die ersten 8 wurden zu Ehren von Nikola Tesla, Miroslav Radman, Dragutin Tadijanović, Miroslav Krleža, Dražen Petrović, Janica Kostelić, Krešimir Ćosić und Oliver Dragojević gelegt. Derzeit sind 32 Marmorsterne mit Namen prominenter kroatischer Athleten, Wissenschaftler und Künstler auf der Slatina zu sehen.
